FOOD AT THE PERFECT TEMPERATURE
Wherever tray-served food has to be distributed to large numbers of people, gentle temperature control is a challenge. Without active warming or cooling, the temperature, appearance and flavour of food can suffer. In hospitals and retirement homes, the mobile trolleys ensure the food is kept at a constant temperature and facilitate distribution.
Innovation
COMPACT VOLUME – AMPLE STORAGE SPACE
With active temperature control via hot air or convection cooling, the AirServe Trolley establishes a new product category for Blanco Professional.
We took this technical concept one step further and placed the thermal partition wall inside the trolley off-centre. As a result, the Gastronorm tray – which we also optimised – can be positioned in various ways to make maximum use of the storage space depending on the individual menu.

Design
HYGIENIC, SAFE AND FRIENDLY
Our design development is based on users’ input and – because the trolley is mainly intended for use in hospitals – the HACCP hygiene guidelines. The design presents a friendly face and incorporates cross-family features of the Blanco Professional brand – such as ergonomic push handles or the characteristic all-round impact protection. The integrated colour display uses plain text and unambiguous symbols to ensure the meals are distributed to the correct recipients. This kind of well-conceived detail improves usability in everyday hospital life and increases safety for staff and patients alike.
