USER-ORIENTED FUNCTIONAL LEVELS


Products like the AirServe trolley family work largely automatically but need an interface for entering temperature management specifications and ensuring the food is distributed to the correct recipients. The interface concept is based on a self-explanatory, logical and comprehensible structure – and adapted to the user groups involved. The head chef, for example, has his own master mode with specific programming and monitoring settings, while carers access and use a simplified control level that only covers the information required for regeneration and distribution of the food but presents it in a clear, immediately understandable way.

CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION


Differentiating between user groups allows the functionalities of the interface to be optimally adapted to the respective requirements. The basis for this is provided by a top-quality colour display that presents the information in plain text with symbol support. The operating modes are indicated in self-explanatory colours, while the integrated USB slot not only permits programmes and error messages to be read and saved but allows the firmware to be updated as well. The settings are either programmed and modified directly via the interface (basic level) or, in the case of more complex changes, by accessing the web browser with a computer or mobile device (master level).

Design

TRIED-AND-TESTED OPERATING LOGIC


The interface is designed to make the information immediately and clearly identifiable; no special skills or knowledge are required to set the programme parameters. All the information is displayed in plain text, accompanied by unambiguous symbols and bold colours that improve information uptake. We also designed the interface to be consistent with corporate guidelines and the tried-and-tested Blanco logic.
